Mrs. Joseph Dodson

Mrs. Tish J. Dodson died Tuesday, June 16, 1964 in Winchester Memorial Hospital. She had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ines J. Burke in Clarke County until she entered a nursing home several months ago. Mrs. Dodson was a native of Washington, Rappahannock County, Va., a daughtefr of Alfred Stewart and Catherine Gearing Jenkins. She was the widow of Joseph Dodson, and was a member of Oakley Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, Golden Jenkins of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Nellie J. Kline, Manassas; and the following step-c h i 1 d r e n, Mrs. Lloyd White, and Dan Dodson, Laurel Md., Mrs. Marvin Bucher, Win Chester, Ray Dodson, Luray, Roy Dodson, Millwood and Mrs Fred Nelson, Hyattsville, Md. A funeral service was held last Thursday at 2 p. m. from a Berryville Funeral Home with interment in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City.

Mrs. James Carr

Mrs. Rosse Register Carr, Interior Decorator and consultant, wife of James Carr, Washington Realtor and Builder, died Monday, June 22 at Columbia Hospital for Women, Washington, D. C. of cancer. The Carrs have maintained a home in Sperryville for the past seven years. Mrs. Carr was a native of Fort Pierce, Florida and a graduate of New York School of Interior Decorating. She had her own offices in Ft. Pierce and in Georgetown and recently was a consultant on Interior Decoration.From 1942 - 1945 she was a specialist in the Office of Price Administration. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son James E. Carr of the home address, 4320 Lorcom Lane, Arlington; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Klopser, 314 Raymond Avenue, McLean; a sister, Mrs. Ann Wedow, three brothers, Alton A. Register, R. M. Register, and Edgar C. Register, all of Ft. Pierce. Funeral services were held at St. Albans Episcopal Church at 2 p.m. with burial in Rock Creek Cemetery.
