bullet wound received two days] before. His wife, Mrs. Lucille Arrington, 39, is being held in the Orange County jail on a charge of murder. No preliminary hearing has been held and no date set for trial. A native of Scott County, Peters has been resident of Culpeper since 1945. He is married to the former Miss Alice Mae Hurt of Madison. Peter8 is a former deputy sheriff, serving under Sheriff C. Mason Green who was defeated in his bid for1 reelection in the general election last November.
