Douglas Gordons Visit Local Library
Friday morning the staff of Rappahannock County Library was happy to receive Mr. and Mrs. Douglas H. Gordon, distinguished visitors from Baltimore. They were visiting ovfer the Holiday with their nephew and niece,. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dalgren at Wind sor Lodge. Mr. Gordon had expressed his interest in our Library over a year ago by letter. He has an abiding love for books and takes every opportunity to promote their use. He brought with him several volumes of fine classic and historic literature as a gift, and promised to send more. He and his wife congratulated the Library people on their splendid progress in providing library service here.
