Miss Ellen Gore of Castleton who is a fourth year nursing student at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army; Nursing Corps, on March 17,! 1965. Miss Gore has been a member of the Army Student Nurse Program for the past two years and will graduate in June. She completed two years at Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg before attend ing the University of Virginia. Miss Gore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs* Richard Gore of Castleton, who with their son Ricky were in Charlottes, ville to attend the swearing in ceremony.
