Mrs. Weldon Yowell of Culpeper celebrated her 90th birthday yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Turpin Willis, St. with whom she makes her home. Mrs. Yowell, the former Maizie Leathers of Madison County, lived for many years at Peola Mills after her marriage. Four generations of the family are pictured here: Mrs. Yowell holding her great-granddaughter, Melinda Yowell, her son Hugh and grandson John D. Yowell. Other members of Mrs. Yowell’s family include Mrs. Olney Thornhill of Culpeper, Mrs. Claude Yowell, Madison, and Kelsie Yowell of Baltimore, Md.
