This robust cow of Holstein stock, born in Peru, gave birth to seven calves in a stable in.Chillon. In the opinion of experts, this multiple birth is without precedent in the world. Between 4;30 a.m. of Wednesday and 6 a.m. on Thursday, the cow “Sapo" (Toad) had two male and five female calves. The father of the calves is from Holand-Peruvian stock like the mother. Six months ago he won a prize in a contest.

One of the provisions of the new GI insurance law, effective May 1, 1965, permits National Service Life Insurance holders to convert term insurance or exchange permanent plan policies for a new modified life plan. Disabled veterans, entitled to new insurance under other provisions of this law, are also eligible for the modified life plan.
Premiums for this new plan will remain the same throughout the life of the insured. This contrasts with term insurance where the premium amount increases every five years.
