At Flint Hill Sun.
Dr. Hugh M. Burleigh, District Superintendent of the Charlottesville District of the Methodist Church will be the guest minister at the 11 a.m. Service at Flint Hill Methodist Church. Following the service there will be a covered dish dinner at the Flint Hill Fire Hall for all members of Flint Hill, Willis Chapel, 'Washington, and Sperryville Methodist Churches. After the dinner, Dr. Burleigh will conduct the Fourth Quarterly Conference for the Rappahannock Methodist Charge.
Special Program on
Rugs and Carpets
Mr. Len Trainor, area manager, for Lees Carpet Company will present a special interest program on “Buying Rugs & Carpets* on Thursday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Court House in Washington. Mr. Trainor will discuss such topics as, points to consider in buying rugs and car pets, and various carpeting fibers, and their wearing and cleaning characteristics. This program is sponsored for all interested by the Sperry ville Home Demonstration Club. No charge will be made.
Amissville First Aid
Classes Continue
First Aid classes are being held at Amissville fire hall for all firemen and potential rescue squadsmen. The initial class was Tuesday nighr, March 23 and ensuing classes are scheduled for March 25 30, 31 and April 2, from 7 until 9 p.m. A rescue squad unit will be organized at Amissville in connection with the volunteer fire company. An ambulance has been purchased from The Plains and will be put in use in the near future. Dick Glascock of Warrenton is the instructor for the classes.
