Mr*. Susie W. Pullen
Mrs. Susie W. Pullen of Front Royal died Wednesday March 24, 1965 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. She was a native of Rappahannock County, born January 30, 1898, a daughter of the late M. J. Welch and Helen Coooer Welch. ^ Survivors include one daugh ter, Mrs. Marvin Long of Front Royal with whom she had made her home for the past 15 years; one son, Thomas H. Pullen of Richmond; and four grandchildren. Also a brother Horace B. Welch of Front Royal. A funeral service will be held Friday from Washington Baptist Church at 2 p.m. interment will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Brig. Gen. W. C. Lewis
Brig. Gen. William Chesley Lewis, Sr. USAF (Ret.) died Tuesday in the University Hospital, Charlottesville. He was taken to the hospital by the Rappahannock Rescue Squad from Hawthorne Farm, Wood ville Where he was visiting Mr and Mrs. Walker Stone. His home was at 807 Milestone .Prive, Silver Spring, Md. He was the husband of the late Nelle W. Lewis and the father of William C. Lewis, Jr., ■Brig. Gen. USAF (Ret.) and brother of Mrs. C. J. Merritt, Mrs. B. C. Wyrick and Fitzhugh Lewis. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2. p.m. at Ft. Meyer Chapel followed by interment at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
