CoUncit Sets Paint-Up
Clean-Up Time
The Town Council of the Town of Washington has voted the week of April 5th through the 10th as the official annual spring paint-up, clean-up, fix up time. Trash collection for this period will be on Saturday April 10th in addition to the regular day of the first Saturday in the month. Paper and garbage will not be included in trash to be hauled away to the dump. This is in line with the usual policy of not accepting anything that can be disposed of by burning. The regular time for this clean-up campaign is immediately before Garden Week which is the last weekend in April but this year with Easter coming so late it was changed so the community would be spruced-up in time for the Easter holiday.
