Hurray! For the first time 'in a long, long time we will have an Easter vacation. The ■pleasant winter weather gave us the week of April 19 for Peter Cottontail. RCHS was visited last week by many former students on their spring vacations. Among them were: John O’Bannon, Hargrave Military Academy; Lyle and Francis Updike, V. P.I.; Milton Gore, Jr., Roger Welch, James Cannon, R.M.A.; Alice Wood, Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School; Frank Moffett, V.M.I.; Sue Schaefer, Radford; and Mark Harris, Antioch College. It was great having you back! The Spring S.C.A. Conference will be held in Martinsville on April 2-4. Joan Lee and Page Moffett with Miss Zinn as sponsor will attend. At the Fall Conference held at Page County High a new sportsmanship code was drawn up. This code is as follows: The players: They live clean and play hard. They play for the love of the game. They win without boasting and lose without excuses. They respect the officials and accept their decisions without arguments. They never forget that they represent their school.
