Mrs. Mabel Yowell of Culpeper was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hash.

Randolph Hash and the Varsity Baseball team of the University of Richmond are spend ing this week at Fort Eustis. Here the boys practice and play one game each day.

Herbert Hash, Jr., who has been stationed in Germany with the army for the past year, sails for home April 5 on the Upshur from the port of Brennerhaven. The ship docks at Fort Hamilton, N. Y. about April 15. ^ Mrs. Lacy Corbin and Mrs. Frank Alger of Winchester were dinner guests on Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Frazier and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jenkins and daughter Margaret at Mitchells. A birthday dinner party was held Sunday at the home of Mrs. Lucy Thornhill and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill of Boston. The dinner was in honor of Lu Ellen Thornhill, daughter of Mr. and Mbs. Tom Thornhill who was celebrating her second birthday; Mrs. William Morian of Washington, D. C., sister of Tom Thornhill, and Ronnie Burke of Boston, brother of Mrs. Tom Thornhill.
