"The nomination of the candidate of the Democratic Party for the office of the member of the Senate of Virginia from the 20th Senatorial District, comprised of the Counties of Page. Rappahannock. Rockingham. Warren and the City of Harrisonburg to be voted on in the General Election to be held in said Senatorial District on November 2, 1965. shall be bv direct primary method and that a primary for the nomination of said Democratic candidate for said office shall be held on July 13. 1963. pursuant to the provisions of the State Primary Laws and that all candidates for said office shall file their declaration of candidacy with Ralph J. Davis. Chairman of the Senatorial District Committee for the Counties of Page. Rappahannock. Rockingham. Warren and the City of Harrisonburg, at Lurav. Virginia, at least 90 days before the said primary to be held on July 13, 1963 and if not more than one candidate files for said position, he shall be declared the Democratic Nominee of the party for the Senate of Virginia from the aforesaid district."
