The Annual District VIII meeting Virginia Federation, Home Demonstration Clubs, will be held April 22, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Annandale Theatre on Rt. 236 in Annandale. Fairfax county will be hostess. During the morning session Colonel Kenneth L. Treiber, USA (ret.), will give an address entitled Living Each Moment, from his book by the same name. (This book will be on sale at the meeting for $1.00) Colonel Treiber is the author of many technical publications and conducts the Think Corner for College Life, the national magazine for college students. Miss Maude Wallace of Blacksburg, will explain “Why and What Federation Program of Work*. During the afternoon a Spring Parfait of Fashions will be presented by three members from each of the seven counties modeling garments they made themselves. Mrs. Barbara Hanson of Arlington will be the narrator. Mrs. Jane Gilmer Wilhelm, Educational Adviser, will speak on “How Can We Live in This Changing World?" She received her A. B. degree from the College of William and Mary, M. A. from Duke University and Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion at Yale. Mrs. Wilhelm has done graduate work at Radcliffe College

The PTA of Washington Elementary School will hold its April meeting on April 27 at the school at 7:30 p.pi. Please note that this is a change from the regular schedule, since the regular meeting night comes during the week of spring vacation.
