Chester Gap Mission
The Reverend Ralph J. Rasberry, pastor of the Chester Gap Baptist Church, cordially invites the public to participate in the Easter Sunrise Service at 5:30 a.m. Special music will be given by the Amissville and Forest Grove Baptist Churches. The message will be brought by the Rev. Edgar B. Cahoon, Jr., pastor of the Mt. Carmel and Shiloh Baptist Churches. In case of bad weather the service will be held in the church.
Garden Club To Meet April 21
The Rappahannock Garden Club will meet Wednesday, April 21 at 2 p. m. at the home of Mrs. C. E. Johnson, jr. at Sperryville. Hostess for the meeting will be Mrs. James Smith and Mrs. A. W. Yowell. The program will be a flower arrangement clinic. It is time for payment of membership dues for 196566. These may be paid to C. B. Johnson, Treasurer, Woodville, Virginia.

Final registration day for children who will enter the Washington Elementary School first grade in September will be held Monday, April 19 at 10 a.m. All children must be registered before they enter school. It will be necessary to bring the birth certificate of the child to be registered and all children must be accompanied by an parent.
May 1st Deadline For Poll Tax Payment
Saturday, May 1, 1965 is the deadline for paying poll tax to be eligible to vote in 6tate elections. This tax may be paid to the Rappahannock County’s Treasurer’s office, Robert L. Brown, Washington, Va.
