Library Lines
The Rappahannock Library Board met at the Library Monday evening with all Trustees and a good representation from District committee members present. After an inspection and approval of improvements and additions recently made in the building the meeting was call* ed to order by the chairman, Mr. William M. Carrigan. Minutes of the last meeting were read by the Secretary, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, jr., and reports made on the carrying out of plans made at the last meeting. Mrs. B. M. Miller, Treasurer gave a detailed report on the work done which included new book shelves, finishing off of the balcony for additional shelves and reading space and an area made for a proposed powder room. Acting librarians Mrs. R. E. Patzig and Mrs. Miller reported an increasing number of users of the library and ways and meane were discussed for further increase. Ideas were exchanged with Mr. Norton concerning the extended use of the library by students, and note was made of the many really good books available to that group.
