The regular monthly meeting of the Chester Gap Home Demonstration Club was held Thursday, April 8 at 7:30 in the Fire Hall with eleven members present. After the regular routine business and treasurer’s report a very interesting demonstration was given by the Home Agent, Miss Daugherty, on dressing according to your type and how to bring out your good points and minimize your defects. Edward Willis of Arlington! and Tom Willis of Maryland visited their brother Willie Willis and Mrs. Willis and attended funeral services for their aunt Mrs. Willie McKay last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ritenour Monday at Stephens City. Gilbert Smith was a Monday morning visitor of his mother Mrs. “Pet" Smith. The supper which was held at Chester Gap Fire Hall on Saturday night was well attended. The Ladies of the Fire Company wish to thank each and every one who made donations, helped In the preparation and all who attended. It was greatly appreciated.
