Rev. Glaenzer to Visit
Alcoholic Institute
The Rev. Charles Glaenzer, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va. will attend a three-week session of The Summer School of Alcoholic Studies jo be held at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N, J. from June 27 through July 16. Mr. Glaer> zer received a $300 scholarship for this course. Mr. Glaenzer has had previous courses in alcoholism, but be said he feels this study will better enable him to give first hand assistance to alcoholics and their families. Included in the course will be the function and structure of alcoholism services, social implications of alcohol use in American society, casework with alcoholics and their families, counseling and institutional programs for alcoholics.
