Meeting Postponed
The program scheduled for February 8 by the Rappahannock Historical Society celebrating the 133rd birthday of
our first president. An interesting program is planned. Mark this important date on your calendar to be present at the Court House in Washington on Tuesday evening, February 22.

But we should have been first. Why not? That is, first in percent of heifers vaccinated against Brucellosis. We have been tops; let’s fight and pull to get there in ’66! Gloucester with but an estimated 200 head vaccinated 190 or 95%. Rappahannock immunized 2035 or 88.5% JanuaryNovember inclusive 1965. Having vaccinated 169 in November, we will need to have done 173 head in December to catch up with Gloucester’s 11 months’ achievement which is doubtful. Culpeper showed 72.5%, Madison 51.5%, Page 22%, Fauquier 52.8% and Warren 45.2%. We were 8.9% higher than third placed Essex County.
