Sales Increase
The investor-owned electric utility companies operating in Virginia report a total sales increase in 1965 of 11.3 per cent over 1964. More than 16.0 billion kilowatt hours of electricity were metered dur ing the year. The peak months in sales were September, August and October, in that order. In releasing the report, the Public Utilities Association of the Virginias indicates that the largest group of electric customers in 1965 were the commercial and industrial establishments.
