Farm Credit Passes
$10 Million Mark
The Federal Land Bank Association of Warrenton increased its loans outstanding to $7,185,000 December 31, 1965; and the Warrenton Production Credit Association had loans outstanding of $3,134,000 at the end of the year to enable the Warrenton Farm Credit Office to close out the year with loans outstanding of 10.3 million dollars. The income from this increased volume enable The Federal Land Bank Associ ation to pay a dividend of 5% on the $394(945.00 of capital stock outstanding. Of the thirty five Production Credit Associations in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and West Vir ginia, the Warrenton Associa tion had the largest percentage of gain in loans outstanding and the local Federal Land Bank Association was third highest of the thirty four Federal Land Bank Associations in new money loaned in 1965.
