Races are filling fast for March 5. Rappahannock Hunt Point-to-Point, to be run at Thornton Hill Farm, 1 mile south of Sperryville on Route 527. Starting time 12:30, Most of Virginia'sand Maryland’s well-known steeplechase names are showing up on the program. Competition should be keen. If no more snow plagues the course, running conditions will be excellent. "All signs point to the heaviest entry we have ever had in this second race meet of the Virginia Circuit," states Oliver Durant II, Chairman of the Rappahannock Race Committee.
