Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hensley and children and Mrs. Gladys Schlosser and daughter Gladys were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Schlosser's sister, Mrs. Goldie Clements in Washington, D. C. who returned home recently from a Washington Hospital after undergoing surgery. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Walker of Clinton, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Coughlin of Culpeper were Sunday evening guests of Mr. Coughlin’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Roberts. McDaniels. Mrs. Cary Thornhill returned home Saturday after spending a week visiting her daughter Mrs. Elma Manuel in Winchester.
Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke were Mr. and Mr^f Clyde Dodson, Mrs-. James/Hamilton and Miss Peggy Burke of Silver Spring, Md. Mrs. J. B. Burke returned home Saturday from Martha Jefferson Hospital where she had spent some time recovering from a broken ankle.

Peggy Jean Menefee, of Wash ington was feted with a party Saturday night in honor of her fifth birthday. The party was biven by her father Richard Menefee at their home. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pullen and Junior Pullen and Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Pullen of Flint Hill; Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Brown and son Charles of Sperryville; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Menefee and children Brenda and Earl, Jr., of Warrenton; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Menefee, James and Roger Menefee, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Woodard, Mrs. Frances Tyner, Mary Corder and San dra Dee Hudson, Bobby Weakley, Janet Burke, and Jeanie and Debbie Smoot, all of Wash ington.
