The school probably will be known as the “Freedom Studies Center." "Longlea", in addition to the 20-room stone manor house, has beautiful formal gardens, a, natural pool in a wooded setting, mountain views and miles of the Hazel River within its boundaries.
Last Spring an option was taken on “Longlea" by a Florida real estate developer, who also took an option on an adjoining 950-acre dairy farm owned jointly by Mrs. Kirkpatrick and her son, Michael Marsh of Rappahannock County. The option was jaflowed to expire last sumjmer.
