Mission Study Class
Washington Baptist Church will be host to the churches of Sue Slaughter Group on Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. for the theme 'Down Panama Way”. There will be classes for ladies of W.M.S., Y.W.A., and G.A. Also a filmstrip will be shown on Baptist work in Panama. Plan to attend.

A two week spring gobbler season was approved by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries for seventy Virginia counties from April 23 through May b, according to Executive Director, Chester F. Phelps. Ten' counties jwere dropped from the proposed list at the request of [local boards of supervisors. Hunting will be allowed from one half hour before sunrise iuntil 10 a.m. each day (except [Sundays). Hunting is to be by [calling only. Dogs and organized drives are pfohibited. This year’s season will be 5 days longer than the similar iseason last spring.
