fornia where she studied under Marguerite Wildenhain at-her Farm Pond Summer Workshop In 1964 she received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Georgia. She studied ceramics under Earl McCutchen and crafts under Wiley Sanderson. While obtaining her MFA she taught an adult night class in ceramics. After graduation Miss Jordan began looking for a suitable location for her shop, and through a friend discovered this one which she says, “fits my personality and my needs." Some major repairs were made to the building, but, declares Miss Jordan, “1 soon found out that getting into production was more important than finishing the remodeling, so therp is still much to be done. The showroom is not complete nor is my entrance finished." A potter's wheel, which she had already’ acquired, is the first necessity of a shop and she perfers a kick wheel to an electric or treadle wheel.
