Vliss Universe of Rappahannock County, ages 18 to 28, Millie Dodson; Runners-up, Martha Shillingburg and Barbara Pullen. The Rappahannock Jaycees presented H. B. Winfrey, retiring principal of the local high school a gift, a comfortable rocking chair and expressed hope that he would enjoy it in his retirement. The Jaycees ejtpressed appreciation to all contestants entering the competition and to all businesses and individuals sponsoring candidates for their cooperation and service. Gratitude was expressed for the fine attendance and to all who assisted in any manner to enable the success of the program.
