Other matters to come to the attention of the Supervisors were the location of a public dump in the Sperryville section. T. Carlyle Lea, Jr. speaking for the local Jaycee Chapter, stated a site had been located and asked that the Health Department survey it to see if it meets specifications.

Repair of badly worn record books in the Clerk's Office was approved at a cost of $385. A contract with Warren Memorial Hospital for $22,53 per patient day or $4.51 for out patient visits was approved.
The Board recognized that a rabies epidemic exists in the county and requested that proper action by the Health Department and Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries be taken to trap gray foxes, bobcats and' wild cats. Individuals will be permitted to trap or shoot the animals named.
With payment of claims from the dog fund and approval of current bills the meeting adjourned.
