<ROAD HEARING—
(Continued from Page 1)
requested by Herbert Foster; Widening of Rt. 636 from US 211 to the new school property entrance, requested by O. A. Norton. Mr. Butler said all requests would receive careful consideration. When questioned in regard to the dual laning of Arterial US 211 through Rappahannock, Mr Butler stated that the by-pass of the Town of Washington is scheduled as first priority after the present construction is completed at Massies Corner. Second in line is the section from the east end of the present construction to secondary Rt. 611 which is a few miles west of Amissville. Last to be done will probably be the section from Washington by-pass thit>ugh Sperryville.
Concern was voiced about the dual lane in front of Rappahannock County High School being located on the school side of the highway which would put the road within a matter of a few yards from the building. The Board requested that plans be changed and con struct the new lane on the north side of the present highway.
