Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy, to celebrate Mr. Olney's birthday which was on Monday, were Miss Betty Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kennedy of Alexandria, John Coates and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Minnis and son Chris of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy and son Charles of Slate Mills. Mrs. Claude Gaines, who has been spending two weeks visiting Mrs. Mary Dillion in Alexandria, returned home last Wednesday evening with her son John Gaines. ’T Mrs. Eddie Johnson an'd three sons, Mrs. Norman Wilbur and daughter Norma Lee and Mrs. Iris Brooke and grandson Eric were Saturday overnight^ guests of Mrs. Brooke’s son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. George Baber, Jr. and son Brooke of La n ham, Md. All returned home on Sunday except Mrs. Brooke who remained until Tuesday evening. The Babers are being transferred to a town in New York State.
