Dr. and Mrs. John Lewis Turner are the parents of a daughter, Erwina, born April 1, 1966, weighing 6 lbs., 7 oz. at Bassett Army Hospital, Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska. She is the Turner’s second child, first daughter. Grandparents of the baby a re Mrs. L. J_ Turner of Washington, Va. and Mr. Erwin Goode Walker of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Bennett of Arlington announce the birth of a daughter, Amanda Lynn, born April 2, 1966 at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, D. C. The grandparents are Mrs. Virgie Atkins of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. James L. Bennett of Boston.

Miss Mattie Hector M r . and Mrs. Charles Butler and family of Alexandria were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson returned home Friday from a visit to Dr. and Mrs. James H. Johnson in Lakeland, Florida. They were Saturday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs W. B. Johnson, Mrs. Jesse Dailey and Mrs. J. H. Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sill of Arlington and Mrs. O. J. Whaley of Silver Spring, Md. were Saturday guests of the Misses Lillie and Nellie John son.
