Miss Alise Julia Butler and Lee Allen Wilson were married recently at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Eunice Smith in Staunton. The bride is the daughter of John Butler and the late Minnie Butler of Sperryville. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clint Wilson of Columbia, Ga. The Rev. J. O. Powell of-Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Staunton, performed the double ring ceremony on the lawn before an arch decorated with magnolia blossoms, mixed summer flowers and greenery. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, James Butler of Gordonsville. ” She wore a floor-length gown of silk organza fashioned with a molded bodice, Empire waistline, short sleeves and scooped neckline. The bell shaped skirt was accented withabow. Her fingertip veil of illusion was held with a crown of seed pearls and she carried a white Bible topped with carnations and white streamers.
