Staunton atter spending tne summer with her mother Mrs F. Downing Wood. Dr. L. T. Callahan of Manor Club, Md. was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall at Rose Hill. Sunday guests were Mrs. L. T. Callahan, and Mrs. Thomas Reynolds and daughter Piper of Kensington, Md. The Rev. and Mrs. Ray Williafhs of Flint Hill were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twin land. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer attended the Hoyback-Hutchison wedding Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church in Herndon and were over-night guests of their daughter and family in Manassas. Mrs. Oscar Lindgren and three children spent last week at Warerview on the Rappahannock River. Melvin Johnson of Kingston, Md. is spending this week with his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham. Carl Bruce Johnson and Gregory Johnson of Kingston are guests this week of their grandmother Mrs. William Woodard. Mrs. Cora Lillard and grand son Bradley spent last Wednes day as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weaver. Miss Mary Kerr of Detroit, Michigan was the week-end guest in the home of Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead.

Mrs. Edmonds Hostess To Flint Hill Club

Mrs. Earle Edmonds entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club Monday evening at her home in Huntly. At the conclusion of the playing the club members presented Mrs. Edmonds with, a going-away gift. She will leave September 18 to attend Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg. She in turn produced a Grab Bag of gifts for each guest. Present at the party were Mrs. Wallace Russell, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. James Massie, Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Mrs. L. H. Burford, Mrs. T. L. Eastham, Mrs. Willie Dearing and Mrs. Paul Miller. High prize awards were won by Mrs. Emory Russell and Mrs. Bradford.
