Mr. and Mrk. Jack Wayland and family of Portsmouth have recently moved into the home owned by Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Campbell. Mr. Wayland has accepted the position as 6th grade teacher at Sperryville Elementary School. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brown and son Derek of Hanover, Pa. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Reeve. Mrs. Catherine Brown had as her weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser, Vicky and Jane of Arlington, Mrs. Barbara Payne, Miss Shirley Brown of Bethesda. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce of Front Royal visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown. Mrs. W. J. Brown of Front Royal spent the weekend with her sister Mrs. Jesse Clater. Mrs. H. O. Lyne celebrated her 94th birthday on the 22nd at the Lord Culpeper Hotel with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and David Lyne. Ensign Willis Barton yC Arlington was a jue s t-4sqf-«s ve ra 1 daya—tast week in the Lyne home. Mrs. Perle Coffey, Mrs. John Eubank, Mrs. Robert Nethers, Mrs. Catherine Brown, and Mrs. F. D. Coffey spent the day in Charlottesville on Friday. Mrs. L. E. Osborn of Cincinnati, Ohio is on an extended visit with Mr. and Mrs. E. N.^Montague. Mrs. T. J. Pillar has returned to her home in Broad Hollow after being with her mother, Mrs. Thomas Morrow in Suffolk who has been hospitalized. Mrs. W. H. Cordle also spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Morrow and during, her absence David and Lewis Cordle visited with relatives in Pennsylvania.
