Miss Brown Accepts California Post Miss Shirley Gayle Brown will leave in September for the University of California at San Diego, La Jolla, where she will be secretary to Dr. Kurt E. Shuler, Visiting Professor of Chemistry. Miss Brown is presently Administrative Assistant to Dr. Shuler, Senior Research Fellow, at the National Bureau of Standards, Washington, D. C. Dr. Shuler will be on leave of absence from &BS during the 6 months he is at the University of Calt fornia. Miss Brown has experience working at the University, having worked with Dr. Shuler at the Chemical Laser Conference there in 1964.
