Tuesday where their 4-H pigs were entered in the 4-H Pig Show and Sale, held In the Orange Livestock Market. C. G. won 3rd place in Class 2, 3rd in Class 8 and 5th place in Class 13. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and two sons attended 4-H Banquet held at the DeVivi Restaurant in Orange. Mrs. Chester Weaver is spending several days this week visiting her children and their families; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burke of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beck of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weaver of Alexandria. Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Weaver were Mr. and Mrs. Truman Colvin of Culpeper. Mrs. Elma Manuel and daughters of Winchester sperit last Wednesday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill. The girls remained the rest of the week with their grandparents.
Miss Linda Waddell of Washington, D, C. spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waddell of Hobby Hills Farm. Cliff Hamilton of Bethesda was also a guest. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Sr. were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Thornhill and family of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. B. Carter of Front Royal, Mrs. Joe Moyer and two children of Arlington and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Karnes and children of Culpeper were Sunday dinner guests of Mr.
