John Bayllss Cloud, 74, of Viewtown, died Monday, October 31, 1966, at his residence, following a sudden Illness. He was a native of Rappahannock County, son of die late Bayllss Cloud and the late Ada Whorton Cloud. He was a retired equipment operator with the Virginia Deptr. of Highways. Surviving are hfs wife MrS, Sarah Lucy Tharp Cloud; twc sons, John ThomaB Cloud ol Washington and Cornelius Cloud of Front Royal; twc daughters, Mrs. Lucy Anr Pullen of Manassas and Mrs, Edna Mae Mills of Castleton; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Polly Compton of Castleton and one half-sister Mrs, Lou Maphis of Winchester, A funeral service was helc Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel with burial in Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. James Powers officiated. Pallbearers' were Thomas Tharp, William Tharp, Roy Whorton, Robert Whorton, Darrell Cloud, John Compton, Brown Compton and Bayliss Whorton.
