Wreck Victim* Condition Reported
Of the four Sperryville youth injured in a traffic crash near Washington Tuesday, October 25, two of them have returned to their homes from Winchester Memorial Hospital. They are Kenneth Cave and Allen Jack Jenkins. Edward Wayne Corbin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Corbin, was transferred last Wednesday from the Winchester hospital to the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. He sustained head injuries and a broken leg. According to Mrs. Corbin yesterday morning, he remains in critical condition and has not been able to speak. Sue Slaughter WMU Study Course
The Sue Slaughter W.M.U. will hold a study course on foreign missions at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville on Thursday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m. The study will be that of Southern Baptist Mission work in countries of southeast Asia, such as Sumatra, India, East Pakistan and South Vietnam. Classes will be provided for junior and intermediate G.A.’s Y.W.A.’s and adults. A film strip will be shown and refreshments will be rved following the program. Everyone interested in missions is invited to attend.
