Gilkey Service
A funeral service was held at the Assembly of God Churclj Sperryville, Sunday, October 30 for Wade Douglas Gilkey, 17, who died October 25, 1966 in a traffic crash. The Rev. Ethel Harrington conducted the service at 2 p.m. Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery and pallbearers were Mahlon Atkins, Melvin Atkins, Tommy Brown, Roger Atkins, Danny Baldwin and Wayne Smoot. Surviving include his mother, Mrs. Martba.G, Atkins, stepfather, Blmdr s. Atkins, Sperryville; three brothers, • Ronald G. Gilkey, Viet Nam, Garry L. Gilkey, U. S. Navy and Kenneth Wayne Gochenour Sperryville, three sisters, Mrs. Roberta. Delly, Derry, Pa. and Bevefly Jean and Judith Kay Atkins, Sperryville. Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
