Lyne spent from Monday through Thursday In Blacksburg. David Lyne of the University of Virginia spent Friday night' with his parents. Mrs. Harry Smith who has spent the past five months with Mrs. Perle Coffey returned to her home in Washington. D. C. last Wednesday. Mrs. Coffey was a dinner guest on Sunday of Mrs. Mary Updike and Mrs. Alice Vernez in Washington. Frank Coffey had as his dinner guests on Sunday Davit Jenkins and Gary Wayland, Mrs. H. H. Aylor spent last week with her daughter Mrs. Charles Battaglia in Washington, D. C. who on Friday moved to her new home ir New York City. Kevin Harrison, son of the Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Harrisor spent the weekend with hie grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Harrison in Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Browr spent Thursday and F'Mdaj with relatives in Fredericksburg and King George. Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan accompaniec them to Fredericksburg enroute to her home in Richmond. On Saturday guests ol the Brown’s were Mrs. Robbie Brown and two children anc nephew of Richmond. Elder and Mrs. Edward Majors of Front Royal were callers on Sunday of Mrs. J. Harvey Daily. Among those from this vicinity attending the funeral ol Mrs. George Nethers at Fair - view Cemetery in Culpeper or Sunday were Mr. and Mrs, Nelson Nethers of Sperryville Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers of Flint Hill and Mrs. Dors Updike of Washington.
