Students are getting extra busy again with annual projects. This week the Junior Class began their candy selling campaign. This year there are two kinds of canty Heath Toffy Bars and Heath Chocolate Crunch. Both look and taste very good. Won't you please buy some and sup port the Junior Class? The S.C.A. met two times this past week. On Monday they met to adopt an id$a for a school seal. This is the first time the school has had an official seal and the S. C. A. hopes that it will be widely used in the years to come as a symbol of the school. The S. C. A. met again Tuesday to discuss this year's “Christmas in Novem ber.’’ This project is for the purpose of getting money to send to a school in India for Christmas gifts. It is accomplished by having a school party to which students contribute as much money as they wish. Last year the response was very good. We hope it will be even better this year. The Annual Staff began selling annual subscriptions this week. For anyone wishing to buy a 1967 “Rappsody” the price is $3.50. A note to basketball fans. Practice will start November 1st for Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Spotl i g h t e d this week in teacher profiles is Miss Jean Roberta Lillard, Miss Lillard was born in Flint Hill, Virginia. After attending Rap pahannock County High School she went to Madipon College inHarrisonburg from which she graduated with a B. S. degree in education. While in college Miss Lillard was a member of the Phi Beta Lambda and Zeta Tau Alpha sororities and was also a member of the Standards Committee and Wesley Foundation. Miss Lillard played intremural basketball at Madison. Her pastimes include reading, tennis and basketball. At R. C. H. S. she teaches Typewriting I and'H, Shorthand I and II and Bookkeeping. She resides in Flint Hill.
