Flint Hill HDC Hold.

Basic Knitting Class

A new class in Basic Knitting sponsored by the Flint Hill Home Demonstration Club and the Arts and Crafts Project, will start Thursday, January 19, at the home of the instructor, Mrs. Mary Cleverley. There will be five 2-hour sessions from 7 to 9 p.m*-Fquipnrient needed is size 8 needles, 10" long, plastic if possible and 4 ply knitting worsted. If anyone is interested in Advance Knitting contact Mrs. Cleverley and classes may be arranged.

Amissville HD Club

The Amissville Home Demonstration Club met Monday night in the educational building at the Baptist Church. A demonstration was presented on crewel stitchery and weaving of hats. This will be followed up at a later meeting and a workshop setTtp. Mrs. Jeanette Curtis was elected to serve as vice pre& ident of the cjub and Mrs. F. L. Bowey was named as corresponding secretary. Hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Katherine Riley and Mrs. Dottie Settle. Mrs. Frances Terhune was received as a new member by :he group. u .
