Mr*. Mary Helen Bruce
Mrs. Mary Helen B$ice, 65, of Sperryville died Saturday, December 24, 1966 at Manassas. Daughter of the late Henry Aldridge Brown and the late Almira Woodard Brown, she was a native of Rappahannock County. She is survived by one son, Francis Marion Bruce, Jr., of Broad Run; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Osborne of Broad Run and Miss Mary Helen Bruce of Richmond; six grand children; three brothers, Maury W. Brown of Sperryville, Robert F. Brown of Portsmouth and Henry A. Brown of Woodville; and three sisters, Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper, Mrs. J. E. Wayland and Mrs. E. W. Gor$ both of Sperryville. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 2 p. m. at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church at Sperryville of which she was a member. Burial was in Fair view Cemetery at Culpeper. The Rev. William Harrison officiated, assisted by the Rev. Ed Nicholson. Pallbearers were Bruce Brown, H. William Partlow, Jack Partlow, Reid Partlow, Donald Gore, Edward Gore, Larry Wayland and Dickie Way land. The arrangements were handled by Geest Funeral Parlors, Inc.
