Closes Today
The hunting season for deer and bear closes, today, Thurs day, January 5 in Rappahannock and surrounding area. Game checked in the county in the past two weeks included an 11-point deer shot by Donald Beahm and an 8-point deer bagged by Leonard Good of Stanley. These were checked at Payne's Garage, Washington.
