Defendants.
The object of this suit is to partition the land that Janies Brent and Louisa K. Brent, husband and wife, died seized and possessed of. as herein after described, and each of the complainants have a certain interest in said lands located in Jackson Magisterial District. Rappahannock County, Virginia. That said land consists of several tracts or parcels, and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of said county as follows: Tract No. 1, containing acres, more or less, conveyed to Janf^s Brent and Louisa E. Brent, his wife, as recorded February 19, 1897 in Deed Book T. page .r>00; Tract No. 2, containing 48.04 acres, more or less, with dwelling house thereon, conveyed to James Brent as recorded January 22, 1908 in Deed Book X. pa ire 414; Tract No. 3, containing 21 \ acres, more or less, conveyed to James Brent as recorded October 18, 1918. in Deed Book 29, page 87; and that the said Louisa E. Brent also died seized and possessed of the undivided interest of Bernice Jane Brent BrofcTrr-d^ce^s^jif in each of the aforesaid parcels of land.
And an affidavit having been (made and tiled that the defendants | Richard Alton Brent and Nathaniel Spencer Brent are not residents of | the State of Virginia, it is ordered that each of said non-resident defendants do appear within ten days
|after due publication hereof, and do what may be necessary to protect their interest in this suit. And it ;is further ordered that a copy hereof be published on*.e a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper published in the Town of Washington, that a copy be posted at the front door of the Courthouse of this Court on or before the 8 day of December, 1966, and that the Clerk mail a copy hereof to each of the said defendants to the post-office address given in the affidavit herein, and file a certificate of the fact in the papers of this case.
