Miss Mary Miller Wood entertained at dinner December 28 for Mrs. C. G. Reid, Capt. and Mrs. C. G. Reid of New York, houseguests of Mrs. Reid, Mrs. F. Downing Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hall and five children, Miss Frances Wood, Joe D. Keyser and Miss Anne Baumgardner. Jon Fearon, an exchange student from Orange, New South Wales, Australia, was the guest for several days during the holidays^ of Miss Mary Miller Wood. Mrs. Mary Burke is a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Mrs. H. Taylor Updike and daughter Miss Gail Updike and Mrs. Mary Wood left Dulles Airport Dec. 22 for a nonstop flight to Los Angeles, Calif. They were met there by Mrs. Updike’s son H. T. Updike, Jr. and visited him, Mrs. Updike and family for several days at Port Heuneme. After visiting the'ir-^brother Henry Nethers and family in San Diego, Calif, and touring Disneyland and other points of interest they arrived'at Dulles at 4 p. m. Dec. 30. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker and two children of Culpeper and Clyde Nethers and daughter Jean of Arlington were Sunday visitors in the H. T. Updike home. A guest on Christmas Day of Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Jenkins was Mrs. Jenkins’ brother Leroy Jenkins who spent three days in the' Jenkins home on leave from Vietnam. Thursday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. James Walter Ryder, Jr. of Etlan and Sunday evening guests wei:e Jim Jenkins and Miss Dorothy Jenkins of Woodville.
