Retired Circuit Judge .1. R. II. Alexander of Leesburg died Saturday, December 31. 1060 at Loudoun Memorial 1 lospiui, lie was 84. Judge Alexander served on the bench of the 2bth Virginia Judicial Circuit, which includes Rappahannock, Lauquier and Loudoun Counties, for 23 years lie retired in 1952. Prior to his appointment as judge, he served as Comm monwealth’s Attorney for Lou doun County for six years. 'Me was a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Loudoun County Bar Association and the Loudoun Hunt. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora -‘Lutz Alexander; two sons, Samuel'L. Alexander of Stafford County and John \lexander of Catlett; and a sister, Mrs. Llmon A. Miller of Washington, D.C. A funeral service was held Tuesday at Union Cemetery, Leesburg.
