Abducting young wildlife is expressly prohibited by law and carries fines and punishment comparable to those for shooting the animal. Wardens confiscate great numbers of these animals each spring and summer and these animals must then be raised at the sportsmen’s expense at facilities such as at the Cumberland Game Farm, until they can be released in the wild. In the rare cases when a wild mother has been killed by a car or other catastrophe, and the young are genuine orphans the game warden, if notified, will be glad to, arrange to have 'the young animals picked up and transported to a place where they will receive proper care.
Mr. Williamson To
Manage Shengas Corp.
Shengas Corporation announced today that L. Richard Williamson has assumed the position of Manager of its Front Royal office. Mr. Williamson previously served as Assistant Manager under Mr. Charles J. Burke, Manager of the Front Royal office of Shert gas since 1955. Mr. Burke passed away May 23. Mr. Williamson has had seventeen years of service with Shengas and has had experience in all phases of the LP-Gas business. He resides in Bentonville, Virginia with his wife and two children.
