Misses Susan Bosserman, Anne Dingledine, Hunter Gout don, all of Harrisonburg; Miss Dorothy Lowe, Lincroft, New Jersey; Miss Bonnie Chapmaij, Arlington, and Miss Grace Ann Brumfield, Richmond. Their gowns were identical to those of the honor attendants and they carried cascade bouquets of pink carnations, blue delphinium and babies breath. Misses Laura Janeand Elizabeth Homan of Toms River, New Jersey, nieces of the bride, were flower girls. They wore full length gowns of blue silk linen with matching bonnet headpieces, and carried baskets of pink rose petals. Rollarid D. Funkhouser of Tampa, Florida, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Fred R. Shank, College Park, Md., John W. Ewing, brother of the bride, Edwin G. Crist, John S. Case, all of Harrisonburg, Greene Lawson of Roanoke, Russell Eck, Warsaw, New York, Joseph S. Kennedy, Boston, Mass, and Edward C. Homan, Jr. Toms River, New Jersey. A reception was held at Belle Meade. The mother of the bride chose a princess line sheath gown of blue silk organza with a full length coat of blue Alencon lace. Her flowers were whitecarnationsandpink sweetheart roses. Mrs. Ewing is the former Jane Schwartz of Sperryville. The bridegroom’s mother wore a princess line sheath gown of petal pink chiffon designed with a full flowing mantle coat. Her corsage was also of white carnations and pink sweetheart roses. For traveling the bride wore a yellow suit with matching accessories. The couple will make their home in Frankfurt, Germany.
