Mrs. Ida Devers spent last week with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Devers in Front Royal, Miss Barbara Swindler had as dinner guests last Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler and daughter Linda of Brentwood, Maryland and Mrs. Thomas Swindler and two children of Hyattsville. Miss Swindler returned with them and spent the -weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kagey in Cottage City, Maryland. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers and Mrs. Ida Devers were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland. Mrs. Catherine Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown spent the weekend in Arlington and Alexandria and Bethes da with relatives. Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Leonard Johnson of Severn. Md. Phil Hawkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins returned on Sundav to Oak Hill Academy, Mouth of Wilson, Virginia for the summer semester. Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner had as their guests on Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Wilson \.
