Mr. ai)d Mrs. Jack Petty, Miss Carol Ann Petty and Miss Kay Petty of Front Royal were Friday guests of Mrs. Walker B. Jenkins. Mrs. Walker B. Jenkins, Miss Mary Jenkins, Miss Ruby Jenkins, with Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon, James Cannon, Miss Donna Cannon, Mr. and Mrs. T. V. Williams and Thomas Williams of Castleton were Thursday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph R. Thornhill in Alexandria and attended the graduation exercises of Mrs. Thornhill at Groveton High School in Fairfax County. Dr. and Mrs. L. John Turner and two children left Sunday after spending some time at the home of Dr. Turner’s mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. Dr. Turner will enter graduate school at Dartmough College in Hanover, N. H.
Miss Peggy Palmer arrived from Lynchburg Saturday at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer where she will spend the summer months.
Mike and Kevin Raney of Flint Hill were Sunday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller at Mt. Prospect Additional Sunday guests were the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F, Glaenzer.
